I'm writing a paper and it seems like I'm not even going to hit the page limit?
One of my mentors insisted that, if you have a truly good idea, it should not take more than three pages to convince a reader of its merits.
I guess part of why I'm not hitting the page limit, is that I have 2 more pages than I am used to, so I guess I can't take this as a sign that my ideas are getting better.
Yet... This is an interesting first and makes me feel like I'm not doing enough?
The case of a Q1 journal paper that lacks reference integrity.
You'd be surprised, but about 90% of the papers and theses we scanned had reference issues.
In this particular paper, CitationLab found:
Two references—each listed twice in the bibliography: for each paper, it was listed one time under the first author's first name, then again under the surname.
