This is exactly what I am trying to convey to others. This and the fact that it:
* Consumes huge amounts of energy
* Consumes huge amounts of (drinking!) water

Also: at some point sites like #stackoverflow will go dark; they make money of ads because the #developers will visit it. If everybody is asking #AI they will no longer visit it. It also means no more information to FEED the AI's.

The GenAI wave made coding accessible to everyone. But the value of OR, Stats, and DS communities has gone up 10x. The people who stayed have real practical expertise, and that changes the quality of every conversation.

Today Im mostly looking at how to make the #ViewerJS #iframe at least partially responsive (have a better height re screensize maybe). So Im staring at SO a lot for hack ideas. This is their AI answer warning. Very interesting considering 'AI' takes everything we make but we don't want anything it gives back, at least not in the main tech forums. Uni's should take note of this, but probably dont even know.
