Apple stopniowo ogranicza dostępność produktów w wersji (PRODUCT)RED. Obecnie nie oferuje już żadnych urządzeń w tym charytatywnym kolorze.
Współpraca Apple z organizacją (RED) rozpoczęła się w 2006 roku, wspierając walkę z HIV/AIDS, gruźlicą i malarią w Afryce. Jednak z biegiem lat liczba dostępnych urządzeń w tym wariancie malała.
Nowy iPhone 16e nie ma wersji (PRODUCT)RED, a wraz z wycofaniem iPhone SE, iPhone 14 i 14 Plus z oferty zniknęły ostatnie modele w tym kolorze. Obecnie dostępne są jedynie niektóre etui dla starszych modeli iPhone’ów.
Apple wciąż wspiera The Global Fund poprzez program donacji Apple Pay, który ostatnio odbył się między 29 listopada a 8 grudnia.
Spodziewam się, że Apple nie zamierza kończyć współpracy z PRODUCT(RED), a nowy produkt zobaczymy niebawem i myślę, że może to być dodatkowy kolor iPhone’a 16 lub 16 Pro oraz paski dla Apple Watch z wiosennej kolekcji.

Od 2006 roku Apple współpracuje z marką (RED), wspierając Global Fund w walce z HIV/AIDS, gruźlicą i malarią. Jednak w ostatnich latach firma zmniejszyła liczbę produktów oferowanych w kolorze (PRODUCT)RED.
Obecna oferta obejmuje iPhone’a SE 3. gen. w kolorze (PRODUCT)RED, ale jego sprzedaż ma zakończyć się w marcu. Dostępne są też starsze modele iPhone’a 14 i kilka etui.iPhone 15 i 16 nie mają wersji (PRODUCT)RED.
Zegarek Apple Watch Series 9 w tej wersji został wycofany, a Apple Watch Series 10 nie oferuje tej opcji. Również pasek Sport Band w kolorze (PRODUCT)RED został usunięty z oferty.
Apple zmieniło też nazewnictwo. Produkty Beats w czerwieni są teraz oznaczane jako Statement Red lub Transparent Red.
Apple nadal wspiera Global Fund.
Kampania darowizn Apple Pay na Światowy Dzień AIDS powraca
Apple ogłosiło, że w dniach 29 listopada–8 grudnia przekaże 5 USD na Global Fund za każdy zakup dokonany przy użyciu Apple Pay na Apple.com (także w polskim Apple Online Store), w aplikacji Apple Store lub w sklepach Apple. Łączna darowizna wyniesie maksymalnie 3 mln USD.
Global Fund wspiera walkę z HIV/AIDS, gruźlicą i malarią, finansując kluczowe programy zdrowotne. Kampania organizowana jest corocznie przed Światowym Dniem AIDS, obchodzonym 1 grudnia.
Apple współpracuje z marką (RED) od 18 lat, oferując produkty (PRODUCT)RED, z których część dochodów trafia na fundusz. Do tej pory Apple zebrało ponad 250 mln USD. -

StellaFudge udostępniła wiele zdjęć silikonowego paska do Apple Watch, który nigdy nie został wydany przez Apple. Zamiast tradycyjnego zapięcia po jednej stronie paska, zastosowano regulowaną metalową klamrę i klikalny mechanizm. Opaska pokazana na zdjęciach jest czerwona, ale Apple podobno stworzyło także biały prototyp.

Mówi się również, że Apple wykonało kilka skórzanych prototypów tego paska do zegarków w kolorach Saddle Brown, Red i Ultraviolet.
Sam mechanizm blokujący jest niezwykle prosty i zapewnia bardzo satysfakcjonujące kliknięcie. Dopasowuje się podobnie jak opaska sportowa, ale zapewnia większe wsparcie dla nadgarstków.
Apple prawdopodobnie nie zdecydowało się wyrzucić tego paska do sprzedaży, ponieważ regulacja sprzączki mogła być irytująca1, nie wspominając już o tym, że prawdopodobnie jest trudniejszy w produkcji.

Wieso? Erstens ist es ein wahninnig hübsches #ProductRed Gerät. Zweitens erinnert es mich an mein damaliges #iPhone6 . Und Drittens ist es vom Gewicht her geil zum #joggen .
