#imho #signal @signalapp should implement a strict account settings feature where one could enable, with just one click, the most secure Signal setup.

I just discovered notification profiles in #Signal. Very handy to block notifications during working hours. I don't think WhatsApp has this feature.

- Je kunt een video-opname nu vergrendelen door te vegen (swipen). Houd de opnameknop ingedrukt en veeg naar links om de opname te vergrendelen. Daarna kun je de opname op elk gewenst moment pauzeren en hervatten
- Verbeterde zoom met lensselectie bij het maken van een foto of het opnemen van een video

@digitalcourage Für mich wäre ein Wechsel auf #Signal unzufriedenstellend und ich verstehe auch gar nicht, wieso das in so mancher progressiven Bubble so gehypt wird. Das ist bloß das nächste proprietäre, monopolistische Kommunikationsmedium und in keiner Weise vor zukünftiger Enshittification gefeit. Und dann werden sich trotzdem wieder alle schwer tun zu wechseln, wegen Netzwerkeffekt.

Hi :) der #tray icon fehler von #signal #signaldesktop ist in version 8.25.0 zumindest unter gtk+ #desktops ( z.b. #linuxmint #cinnamon )
endlich behoben. :) dies betrift m.e. die nativ .deb version.
