So while my RPi 5 with 16GB of RAM still struggles with web-based games (confirmed by the junior members of my family) it is works well for most other things.

I was not sure how it would cope with running video chats with the Wire secure messenger in a web browser.

I connected up an external USB webcam to the RPi 5 and tested this. Video chats in Wire seem to work fine even over our "slow" 4G network. This is with Wire running in #Firefox 140.13.0esr.
