Morning in the Myrtle

Usually when I grab my camera, it’s just to step out back and watch the local birds. I’m always hoping to catch a glimpse of a species that doesn’t frequent my backyard. This Summer Tanager (Piranga rubra) is one of those — a visitor I see only every now and then.
