Through the Kitchen Window: Snow, Sassafras, and a Junco

A quiet February snowstorm brought a Dark-eyed Junco to the Sassafras tree outside my kitchen window. I photographed the moment through the glass, and while it took me a while to edit and post these, I’m finally sharing a few frames from that peaceful winter morning.

"Winter Song" is my new #painting about those bright winter days of lemon and pink skies, when the air is clear and cold, and the #birdsong rings louder than ever.
