After pressing command-space to bring up Siri, you can use the up arrow key to scroll back through previous prompts and execute them again.

These days, not running the betas doesn’t keep Apple users from suffering some of the headaches that can come during beta season for those who do.

Updating my test M1 MacBook Pro from beta 4 to 5 was a bit too exciting! It looked like it had finished but nothing was working. I did a restart which brought the machine back to startup mode with everything reset. No great dramas there although I had to go through the full on-boarding process again. The exciting bit was that this had removed my Developer folder! Not a disaster - everything there was already elsewhere - but a bit scary even so.

#iOS27 b5 also got a new Preview icon but this icon isn’t on #macOS27 beta 5 yet.
