In the continuing adventures with macOS Golden Shower I see that a Python script invoking an AppleScript that opens a file in Apple's Numbers app (new or old) fails to open saying the file format is invalid. However, the same file can be opened manually in Numbers without a problem. This worked fine in macOS Sequoia.

Wanna get rid of Siri Ai?

In the first section Siri if you don't use Siri at all choose Don't Allow Siri in the Screen Time settings. I still went through the rest of the disabling.

I'm happy to report that MacOS 27 Golden Gate seems to run stable 24/7 on my Mac Mini M4 server. However there's not a lot installed on there.

I have decided not to upgrade my production machine YET. There's limited information available about audio plugin compatibility. Moreover Ableton Live doesn't seem to be officially supported yet.
Adobe Lightroom Classic/CS seem to have contrasting user experiences.

I don't need AI for anything I do. I never use AI in any creative endeavor. Therefore, I request a setting to eliminate all AI models, AI features in macOS Golden Gate and beyond. I think it is unlikely that I will ever upgrade to Golden Gate unless opting out, including the recovery of disk space, is presented by Apple and committed to by Apple. #goldengate #macOS #Apple #feedback

W ten poniedziałek Apple opublikowało systemy w wersji 27. Wydawać by się mogło, że nowe bety będą miały numer 27.1, a tymczasem mamy do czynienia z wersjami 27.2.

Przyczyna najprawdopodobniej leży w iPhone'ie Duo. Na niedawnej konferencji Apple zapowiedziało, że ten najnowszy model smartfonu będzie miał na premierę wgrany system iOS 27.1.
