I've found a Blender file with my old fursona model, from Summer of 2011. It still works perfectly with Blender 2.79b (last version with the classic Blender internal render engine). The latest Blender also opens it with everything except for the materials.

I thought it was lost forever. What might be lost forever is some more recent versions that could draw the fur in real time (like the one in my profile picture).

I don't know what to think of this. Blender was one of the last creative tools not infected by "AI".

Maybe LLMs can handle tedious tasks, but I'm afraid users will resort to it more and more, becoming indolent and gradually losing skills.
