A quanto pare giocare in modalità “advanced” è stato il “grande equalizzatore”. Con i kart molto piú veloci, per me ed il grande diventa piú difficile controllarli mentre andiamo di derapate per minimizzare i tempi, mentre per la piccola non fa molta differenza, con il risultato che qualche partita la vince anche lei.

Comunque ieri ho gicato a #SuperTuxKart con gli #Oblomovini e non posso piú permettermi di sbagliare o il grande mi sta sul collo e vince pure, ogni tanto.

I wonder what's the license of the mascot - is it fair game for #SuperTuxKart ? -
Es gibt ein scheinbar auf #SuperTuxKart basierendes (schaut euch alleine die Menüs an) #OpenSource Projekt, welches an einem #Spiel arbeitet, dass konzeptionell den alten #DestructionDerby Titeln ähneln soll.
Ziel im #Multiplayer ist es Gegenspieler kaputt zu rammen ohne selbst zu viel Schaden zu nehmen. Wer zuletzt noch übrig ist, hat gewonnen.
Aktuell und relativ frisch ist Version 0.8.0-Alpha. #Linux und #Windows werden unterstützt. Es gibt #Appimage

We had an open source video game night at our house last night and it was a lot of fun! Some of my family and friends came. There was a mix of kids and grownups. People enjoyed SuperTuxKart. They would grab a controller and play some SuperTuxKart soccer or racing, and then drift off to get pizza or chat with people. After convicing them that the games were for grownups too, I had some intense races with my brother-inlaws 😃🏁 🚗 💨 !
We also had Luanti available. Fewer people played it because (depending of the game) it's a little harder to play casually. But my 4 y/o and his cousin loved it! They were happily punching blocks and occasionally asking me to do the command to make it daytime. It's so fun to see kids learning how to play a game and really getting into it.

As you probably have guessed by my username, I know Blender. And I also know how to make SuperTuxKart addons. So I decided to make a Fedi-based series of tutorials explaining how I go from zero to a finished addon. This first part focuses on Karts ( since they are a bit simpler).

Después de meses de desarrollo ha sido publicado Super Tux Kart 1.5.
Son muchos los cambios que trae, como:
* 3 nuevas búsquedas de huevos en la Selva Negra, la Isla Gran Paradisio y la Antigua Mina.
* 3 nuevos campos para el modo fútbol
* 6 nuevos temas para los menús del juego
* Ahora puedes marcar pistas y karts como favoritos.
