Stanisław Herman Lem was a Polish SF writer. Best known as the author of the 1961 novel Solaris. I recommend the 2011 e-book translation by Bill Johnston:https://www.amazon.com/Solaris-Stanislaw-Lem-ebook/dp/B00Q21MVAI

Working on cover art for The Silent Bell, the first in my cozy Arthurian mystery series. The image centers on a huge bronze bell suspended above a well, with Oxford visible in the background. The aesthetic I want is woodcut meets Tarot card, something that feels old and symbolic rather than photographic.
There are alchemical symbols in the four corners that point toward a major subplot.

The Architecture of Willing is not yet complete, but I wanted to lock in my choice of colour: a dark aubergine-violet.
I hope to release it in May 2026, gods willing. Details to follow.
