Samsung starts global rollout of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S25!
Starting from today, One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones globally, which brings an improved experience for your Galaxy phone by introducing new features and other enhancements, including the new Galaxy AI features that first landed to the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 series.
Starting from today, One UI 9.0 begins distribution to Galaxy S25 globally, with more eligible devices being expected to receive the stable update during the next few weeks. The global release for those who didn’t participate in the beta program will be released soon.
Please note that the update may not have reached your phone and/or your country yet, so you’ll have to be patient while the update reaches your device.

To install One UI 9.0, navigate to your system settings > Software update > Check for updates > Download and install. If you still see “Your software is up to date”, your phone may not have received the update yet.
Always install the software update when the battery is charged. Never interrupt the update in any way, or problems may occur later. There is no need for you to wipe your phone’s cache after the software update. Please note that the download may take 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your internet connection.
