I’m enthralled by malls and don’t know why. But surely this would entertain anybody: we visited a mall and there was not a soul there. Staff placed at great distances like a game. One lot were selling a coffee machine. Would we like a coffee? Yes please. We carried our coffees further into the endless labyrinth. It was dead silent. Huge televisions. Heaters with fake log fires. Bedding. A kind of liminal Disneyland. Severance with kitchenware. 10/10 would visit again. #malls #liminal
