Was countersinking some aluminium PCBs on the kitchen table this evening and was suffering galling from the really soft material.

A few drops from the dregs at the bottom of an olive oil bottle transformed the process.Everything cut instantly leaving a smooth finish.

I was amusing myself thinking that I was drilling like an ancient Greek craftsman whilst conveniently ignoring the details that I was using a power drill into aluminium under electric light!
