  1. I only really know them from their first album and the stuff they did with David Muddyman in 1983 before Transmitters stopping fusing and started fissioning, but they're eminently danceable. jamuuddaloopguru.bandcamp.com/

Next gig is the band on Saturday.

  2. Will ever start? As it's a pub, I am obviously wearing one of my t-shirts as they are the last band I saw in a Firkin

'Backed by rich American donors, for over a decade Mr Robinson' ... ''distorted vision of Britain' ... 'nation overrun by “Islamic invaders” (Muslims are 6.5% of the population in England and Wales, roughly double the 2001 rate), its people silenced by a woke liberal elite. Efforts to deplatform him have backfired. Steve , Donald ’s former strategist, has called him the “backbone” of Britain. Mr pays his legal fees.'

  5. it's interesting that the think my County Council Division is so safe that they don't normally do any pre-election visits and don't hand deliver leaflets, but so at risk from that they post a last-minute leaflet with their national priorities (including Internet censorship/surveillance to protect children) and no local ones.

  6. I regret never seeing H.Grimace (or H. Grimace) live. I had a ticket to see them at the Lexington (I think it was) in London during the worst of Covid, and they sensibly cancelled, but seemed to disappear after that.

on played "Oversight" by The New Cut which vaguely reminded me of them.
