An interesting discussion about #AntiZionism and supposed Anti-Zionists. I do hope Miller brings out a book on why the left are sometimes weak on a certain subject and how they can easily turn against comrades.
They also mention #Corbyn and it occurred to me the difference between someone like Miller and a politician like Corbyn. Miller knows his field so knows what he's talking about. Corbyn is more diplomatic so his personal beliefs might take a back seat or he sees himself as a facilitator to solving other people's disputes.
That would explain why Corbyn isn't Anti-Zionist and gets ruffled when someone asks him about it. Possibly he doesn't know enough or doesn't feel he has the right to be AZ or he doesn't feel it helps by taking sides.
Although by not being an AZ, he takes the oppressor's side ...
Also discussed is why the term #ZIo is not problematic.

What I find chilling when the news report a rise in antisemitism is how the news reports it entirely uncritically.
We know some of the figures are made up or exaggerated, we know Israel lobbyists are behind the reports, we know that this same tactic was used against #Corbyn when he was #Labour leader, we know the sudden supposed rise in AS completely coincides with the #genocide Israel is committing in #Gaza, we know that other minority groups are far more likely to receive racist attacks but that kind of racism doesn't receive so much media coverage ...
We know this AS is being pushed for political reasons, to silence criticism of #Zionism and Israel and to further reduce our civil rights to protect Israel and the Western countries that are actively engaged in the Gaza genocide.
We know all this but the folk in the legacy media just read out reports and tell the audience 'Any criticism for this means you too are and antisemite.'

He seems to be talking more openly and more relaxed now he's not in #Labour. He's saying things that would have the media hounding him if he was still Labour leader.
I saw him on TV but it annoyed me that he spoke well of #Burnham. It's things like that that makes me admire him less.
Interestingly, he referred to himself as an independent MP, yet supposedly he's the leader of #YourParty ... 🤔

The BBC and the Grauniad are both suggesting that Josh Simons may be a major player in Andy #Burnham's new regime. If so, that sounds like very bad news indeed.
Simons is the man who used to run Labour Together, the pro #Israel thinktank which pushed the #Antisemitism smear story about #Corbyn. He was later involved in a major scandal involving lies about journalists told to #GCHQ.
Not a man who should be near power.

#Blair has a written a long and risible essay on how he changed #Labour for the better (by destroying democratic participation in this country), #Corbyn nearly killed Labour (by taking it back to the left, increasing turnout for the only time since Blair got in), and now #Starmer is being too meek about implementing whatever profits-before-people priorities Blair and the markets have today (despite Labour now being slightly to the right of Thatcher).

So now #Israel is interfering in French elections to attack parties of the left. I feel strongly that the attack on #Corbyn's leadership of #UKLabour, and consequently the installation of #Starmer, which we know involved 'Labour Friends of Israel', was in fact a hostile #Israeli operation to change the future government of the UK -- which succeeded.
There will, of course, be no investigation here.
