#Flanders is spending massively on new #cycling infrastructure at approx. €71 per capita per year (an order of magnitude more than the UK).
A lot of investment goes into the "fietssnelwegen", a fantastic network of long-distance cycling corridors between cities.

@JugglingWithEggs @rj yeah, I remember it seemed a bit sneaky, #NorfolkCountyCouncil ending the delegation of city roads to #NorwichCityCouncil pretty quietly after the first round or two of "Cycle City Ambition", then not correcting people if they complained to the wrong council, and adding as many carriageway resurfacings and similar to any further #activeTravel projects so nobody was really happy with Cllr Plant. His traffic lights at our A148/NCN1 junction have never worked for #NCN1.

Given all the clicking noises one hears in #London these in days generated by people are taking a #LimeBike for a joyride, it clearly shows there is a demand for dockless bikes, however people don't want to pay expensive e-bike fees 🤑 #cycling #ActiveTravel
