Die Kritik an der mangelnden Veröffentlichung einzelner Vertragsdetails ist berechtigt. Doch Intransparenz allein ist kein Beweis für Missbrauch. Die Kommission hat bereits angekündigt, laufende Verträge zu prüfen – Projekte wie die juristische Anfechtung von #Datteln4 durch #ClientEarth stehen im Einklang mit dem #GreenDeal und der #EU - Klimastrategie. Dass diese Projekte wirtschaftliche Interessen berühren, ist Teil des politischen Diskurses – nicht zwingend ein Widerspruch zur EU-Agenda.

Deutschland muss sein #Luftreinhalteprogramm nachbessern. Laut einem #Urteil des Oberverwaltungsgerichts Berlin-Brandenburg entsprechen die Maßnahmen nicht den EU-Vorgaben. Der Plan nutzt veraltete Daten und verfehlt europäische Ziele zur #Schadstoffreduktion. Die #DeutscheUmwelthilfe und #ClientEarth hatten erfolgreich geklagt. Das Urteil ist noch nicht rechtskräftig, eine Revision beim Bundesverwaltungsgericht in Leipzig ist möglich.
