Lately I've been noticing a huge difference in #GasolinePrices .
For example, the prices per-gallon last night (January 6, 2024) in Santa Clara, California (Homestead at Princeton) were at Valero $4.239 for cash or $4.299 using credit/debit, and at the Texaco across the intersection $4.999, more than 16% higher!
Just the other day, I noticed the sign at Diamond Gas at Evelyn and Bernardo in Mountain View was barely over $4.
Logging my vehicle's consumption, I've found little difference in performance between brands that could justify a difference, except for ARCO, which has been consistently about 10% poorer.
