I'm seeing a few posts about people wanting the russian data center to be "hit several times".. While it might "seem" like a good idea to "bomb a data centre", keep in mind that data centres employ Pfas chemicals in cooling and in other areas for its operation, and that Pfas doesn't degrade in nature, it keeps building up and spreads.. So unless you LOVE cancers and dying very painful deaths it's best to stop data centres being built in the first place, rather than 'obliterating them' & spreading forever-chemicals after the fact. (*And any forever chemicals you 'release in russia' wont 'stay in russia' once in the environment, btw).
Use some common sense, people.

Unplugging them provides an opportunity to inspect for cracked insulation, loose connections, or hot plugs.

Here in the year 2026, I think we all agree that seat belts are a common-sense, important safety feature of cars.
Automakers were resistant to the idea, even when presented with hard data showing they reduced injuries and saved lives.
In the same way, #AI companies need to be regulated. We can’t count on these companies (Oracle, Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) to “self regulate” in any way that doesn’t benefit them. We need common sense constraints and rules (laws) that protect the consumers.
