Introduction According to the United States Postal Service, the City of Middletown is defined by ZIP codes 45042, 45044, and 45005 (Franklin). The northern side of the city is associated with ZIP code 45042, and the southern side is primarily with ZIP code 45044. Das aktuelle kleine ThemenSpezial: Greetings from Suburbia!
Die amerikanischen Suburbs. Einst standen sie für den wahr gewordenen amerikanischen Traum, den begehrenswerten Endpunkt und das idealisierte Idyll für alle Mittelklasse-Kernfamilien. Jedoch wissen aufmerksame Filmemacher schon seit langem, dass unter der gutbürgerlichen Fassade und in den immer gleichen Einfamilienhäusern viele Geschichten liegen, welche ganz andere Töne anschlagen. Ob es nun um das unterdrückte Unterbewusstsein, ungeplante Schwangerschaften oder herabstürzende Flugzeugturbinen geht, wir wünschen viele Grüße aus den Suburbs der Filmgeschichte!

Problems I Have Living in #losangeles Part Five:
It isn't that quiet anywhere. Even at home, as I have roommates with various schedules and someone is always up doing something. Which will be solved soon when I have my own place, but peace is a commodity that is hard to come by.
Endless, crowded #suburbia is what the #sanfernandovalley feels like to me. I don't have a car, so a large piece of nature can be hard for me to get to since public transportation freaks me out often.

Hyde and Church St.:
Bumper-to-bumper road trains speeding through drive through town. Horizontal native forests fly by on logging trucks. Amplified 'music' tries to overpower the fossil fuel soundscape. A non-place between Paramatta Rd. and Luna Park.
In Church St. (which really is just another car park) food consumers are being polluted by car fumes. Breastfeeding parents idle in their air-conditioned SUVs.Council updated the tidy garden beds along the road with new weeds. Indian mynas are rapidly replacing native birds.
The 'Koala shampoo for dogs' summed it all up.
