Die amerikanischen Suburbs. Einst standen sie für den wahr gewordenen amerikanischen Traum, den begehrenswerten Endpunkt und das idealisierte Idyll für alle Mittelklasse-Kernfamilien. Jedoch wissen aufmerksame Filmemacher schon seit langem, dass unter der gutbürgerlichen Fassade und in den immer gleichen Einfamilienhäusern viele Geschichten liegen, welche ganz andere Töne anschlagen.
