Bernice described how declining #birthrates should not provoke panic.

Instead, #policymakers should use them to devise big picture strategies to help #youngpeople have #children if and when they want to, alongside creating solutions to #care for #oldergenerations as they age.

"When considering those transitioning to state #pension age, #policymakers need to account for the different #socioeconomic resources and health status that individuals with different #demographic characteristics bring to these transitions," say CPC-CG and CRA researchers in newly published evidence submitted to the #Work and #Pensions Committee inquiry into the transition to #StatePension age.
