so I have a 2 free tickets to a show at Lagunitas Brewery Monday night (I'll post separately about it) and at the moment the other ticket isn't spoken for. I thought about inviting my ex-gf but I honestly don't think she'd be interested and I also thought it through and realized I don't think I want to navigate it emotionally for myself, if she were to say yes.

And then I thought also, well, I've met a few women recently in town, these are purely platonic but do I want to see if one of them wants to go?... and honestly, after thinking it through again, I just don't want to deal with going to it "with" anyone (male or female).

The last show I went to with my friend Steve, and that was great, but he's not free that night.

The ticket won't go to waste, I'll offer it here and maybe somewhere else, and even with unused tickets they mark them at the door so others can get in free.

But I'm glad I was able to think this through and answer the question "what do I really want?" and to honor & listen to my self.

I do wish I could spend more time writing blog posts instead of constantly battling my own doubts about whether I can truly live the lives that those little numbers seem to define for us.

What ever the framing the need to review how our soceity uses and allocate resources is critical. Currently money is the primary tool for allocating resources in our soceity, and with a fisically reserved government and strident billionaires, the resulting distrobution is increasingly unjustifyable.
