Wilful ignorance is a #mentaldisorder that is the most fashionable to have atm. I had a brief exchange w/ a teacher who works at the same #school I'm currently employed at, & after explaining to him some of the words he used, providing verifiable explanations & definitions, he told me, "I don't care, that's how I see & feel about it." What hope is there if our #educators aren't willing to #learn & grow? This is just the most recent event of a pattern I've observed amongst educators.

I think a lot of symptoms we attribute to various psychological "disorders" are symptoms of the trauma people with those "disorders" endure as part of ableist and anti-neurodivergent abuse.
