and another thing i notice about #people who promote #therapy as the end all be all is that if you go to therapy and god forbid it doesn't work for you, it's always your fault. you didn't actually do what your therapist wanted. you weren't putting in the work. it can never be that your #therapists were the problem, or that maybe the whole #system is flawed. it's your fault and your fault alone.

You can call me childish.

I didn't get to have a childhood, and my story from being young has made #therapists cry while my own eyes were dry.

I was robbed of my twenties by #trauma #addiction and #mentalhealth issues as bad as physical ones.

I never got to be childish, so I grow immature as I grow older, and forget what the rules of #life were even meant to be as I've had to rewrite the awful ones I learned.

#hope and #love kept me alive.

It's still the only purpose I ever want.
