  11. To show you guys how fucked-up the system is let's consider the following hypothetical situation: Imagine you are on a remote continent. That continent is a whole, separated country with its own constitution, laws and other legal BS. And one day the food supply in the country gets disrupted. Eventually, there is no food. Let's say all you people now have and will have for the rest of your life is water. The other thing is that cannibalism is forbidden and punishable by the law. The rest of the thinking is yours ...

A study published in Psicothema suggests that being psychopathic and impulsive had a bigger impact on not following the rules compared to intelligence."

Conspiracy Theories have epistemic, existential, and social motives. Mhey may:

    • be used defensively, to relieve the self or in-group from a sense of culpability for their disadvantaged position
    • foster solidarity and collective action in disempowered groups
    • offer an important source of belonging and shared reality.
    • not be only a symptom but also a cause of the feelings of alienation and anomie.

  17. This explains all the moral panic I’ve seen on the news from certain news outlets:
“[We] tend to see minority groups as being larger than they really are. This leads to a false impression of diversity, which [leads] to decreased support for pro-diversity policies”

“According to Americans, 21% of [us] are transgender.” It’s 1%.
