A gallon of #fuel weighs 8.3 lbs. So 1M "tons" of #diesel is 241M gal. "Tons" just makes it sound like more.

The U.S. consumes 160M/gal of diesel PER DAY.

So 4.8M "tons" of diesel (spread across 4 months) is 1.1B/gal… a mere 7.2 day supply of diesel… IF it all went to us (note: "global") Not enough to lower prices, but a windfall for #Russia.
