Anyone familiar with the new #medicaid work requirements?

I am self employed but below their income threshold, is it easy to report hours for stuff like that? I write, research, and stream. I don't really keep track of the hours but I could, and it's generally 9-5 on week days.

Dear Senator / Representative -

According to the GAO, there are about 9 million Medicaid recipients who are working full-time, and 7.5 million who receive SNAP benefits.

Every person with a full-time job should have affordable health insurance and make enough money to feed their family.

I want you to do two things:

1) Cosponsor and actively support the Living Wage for All Act, which would raise the minimum wage to $25 an hour.

2) Sponsor and pass legislation to reverse Rule 10b-18 of the Security and Exchange Commission, the rule that allows companies to buy their own stock, thus driving up the value for shareholders while leaving workers with nothing. Stock buybacks were illegal throughout most of the 20th century because they were considered stock market manipulation. But in 1982 under President Reagan, the Securities and Exchange Commission passed rule 10b-18, which created a legal process for buybacks and opened the floodgates for companies to start repurchasing their stock en masse. This money, which used to be passed on to the employees as higher salaries and investment in new products or research, now drives up stock value for CEOs and stockholders.

In Nebraska, Americans begin to lose Medicaid under Trump's work rules

On Saturday, Nebraska will become the first state to remove people from Medicaid for failing to meet new work requirements signed into law by President Trump.

The state's Medicaid director said that roughly 200 Nebraskans will lose their coverage on Aug. 1.
