No one told me I was born different with some genetic #disorder, or that my cognitive health was going to deteriorate due to psychiatric medication during childhood.
People did warn me about alcohol and head #trauma, since friend had died that way, yet I didn’t think it would happen to me until I walked into Walgreen’s glass doors after wedding.
I’m thankful that I learned about excessive #shame & how to live in the present moment. Still hasn’t been an easy journey.
