We urgently need philosophy. The world has changed so radically—and will continue to do so—that traditional ways of thinking are no longer sufficient. From the billions of people deprived of their homelands to machines that act autonomously, we face challenges that we absolutely must solve and that cannot be grasped using our old categories. What does consciousness mean in a world of AI systems? What is life? What is #freedom, and so on? The classical thinking of the European #Enlightenment, which has dominated the world for the past few centuries, is no longer tenable for many reasons and offers no insights. Our understanding of the world must be transformed into a new form of thinking, or we will begin to embrace chaos. Which is what I am doing. Das #Inselchaos steht vor der Tür und ich bin schon richtig hyped ^^ Andereseits auch angepisst, denn:

Aufgrund der anstehenden Landtagswahl kommt der Nazi Björn Höcke nach Stralsund auf die Hansawiese. Am Freitag ist der Faschist Höcke in Stralsund (die Stadt vor Rügen) auf der Hansawiese. Das lassen wir nicht unwidersprochen: Wir rufen zum Gegenprotest auf.

Um 17 Uhr gehts los und ab 18 Uhr ist der Faschist Höcke da.

Die Gegenveranstaltung wird von Rügen für alle organisiert. Wenn ihr könnt: Macht einen Zwischenstopp, bringt Leute mit und boosted den Beitrag.

Für Demokratie, für Antifaschismus, gegen Rassismus, gegen den Nazi Höcke. Wir sehen uns auf der Straße und danach auf dem Inselchaos. 🚩🏴

The latest release of Iterated Function Systems, implemented in OCaml, is now available!
