If #politics won't do the trick ("climate #scientists are all #communists"), they'll resort to #religion ("climate scientists are all atheists"), & if THAT won't do, they'll resort to #magic, & reject the entire #scientific #enterprise, as it has been constructed since the 17th Century.

If you can't update immediately, take the server offline until you can because attackers may already have your secrets, rotate everything after patching. This incident occurred on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, about 15 minutes from where I live. It is an unsettling feeling and extremely concerning that Russian government or military actors are very likely behind the drone attack. The type of explosive used leaves little room for doubt.
Russia’s war of aggression has never been this close to me—practically right on my doorstep.
If a direct link to state or military actors is confirmed, we should no longer speak of a terrorist act but rather of a direct and deliberate act of war by Russia on German soil. At least, that is my personal assessment.
Even though this incident has deeply shaken me, I will not be intimidated by it, and I condemn Russia’s heinous war of aggression against Ukraine in the strongest possible terms.
I stand with Ukraine!
