I've been through that myself — even 2–3 mg of Xanax would feel like taking chalk or vitamins. Absolutely nothing touches that hollow, empty feeling inside. Just endless void.

I started falling into #addiction at 21 when my tics started getting debilitating, and I had no idea what was going on. I was just hurting, and took #benzodiazepines often so I could act normal and resist what was happening. #marijuana and #opioids too.
I was never trying to get high. Just not be in pain. I was also misdiagnosed, and on meds that caused me #depression too.
I have been sober 2 years now.
