I said it before and people on Threads got BIG MAD but I'm going to double down:

"Going to therapy" is not a one size fits all and fixes everything solution. And the amount of MEN ON THE INTERNET who are now weaponizing "therapy speak" and telling women like me to "go to therapy" just as a means to shut me up ARE REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF.

STOP RECOMMENDING THERAPY TO EVERYONE. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. SOMETIMES IT MAKES THINGS WORSE. AND IT CERTAINLY MAKES THINGS WORSE WHEN IT'S USED AS A SMOKESCREEN BY ABUSERS.

As is Autscape's way, everything is optional: there is never an expectation to participate, you're very welcome to just come and read/observe. And it's #AutisticSpace: being and acting autistic is accepted, welcomed, and even celebrated. But non-autistic people are also very welcome, provided they respect this.

As many of us #autistic people tend to get stuck and struggle with “doing stuff”, we hope that this reminder gives some of you the prompt you needed to join us. See you at Autscape!

I’m reflecting on what I want to post on my #Mastodon account.

Soliloquising doesn't seem to be my thing; "soliloquy” being what I’m using to describe what we do when we post on social media. Could be part of #ComplexTrauma, being an #introvert / #ambivert or #neurodivergence.
