Understanding that there are stages of burnout recovery will help you bring awareness to the stage you’re in.
This will help you learn to meet yourself where you’re at, to see it, name it, and say, “Oh, that’s [this stage of burnout recovery], that’s why I feel this way and here’s what I can do.”
Because the recovery process isn’t about getting back to who you were before. It requires you to meet yourself where you’re at.

@JugglingWithEggs The whole thing is a grotesque & insulting #attack on #people with #autism (like me) & other forms of #neurodivergence, #ADHD being one of them - & absolutely typical of #Channel4. I’ve been meaning to watch Channel 4’s documentary The Great #ADHD Myth all week, not because I think I’ll agree with it’s assertion that ADHD is a a ‘social construct’ but because I wanted to see what tricks the latest fighters of a culture war on #neurodivergence are using.

the thing i realized a long time ago is there is literally no point in wishing i was born without a certain disability or cis or whatever else because. that wouldn't be me, then. that would just be some random fucking person. "i wish a neurotypical cis woman completely separate from myself existed" boy do i have good news for you, buddy!

One reason why autists' life expectancy is so low is suicide. One top of lifelong #rejection, and consequential #despair (that all autists experience), the media storm that enveloped JA could easily have pushed him in that direction. 🤬😭
