#TfL says it has a comprehensive hot weather plan to protect the network and keep services running during extreme heat. Its London #Underground Network Hot Weather Plan 2026 uses Met Office forecasts to escalate measures from routine maintenance and cooling checks to track monitoring, speed restrictions and operational changes.
Measures include rail temperature monitoring, air-conditioning and ventilation checks, tunnel cooling, emergency water supplies and staff protections. Above 35°C, further restrictions and changes to working patterns may be considered.
TfL withheld some operational details on safety and security grounds. It does not hold plans for hypothetical heat scenarios, instead basing preparations on previous events. Bus operators must also have hot weather plans and carry out cooling checks.

🏴🏗️ The #UK #government has introduced planning changes to fast-track thousands of homes near well-connected train, tram and #underground stations across #England. The new National Planning Policy Framework creates a default presumption in favour of housing within reasonable walking distance of suitable stations, alongside minimum density expectations. The reforms aim to make better use of underdeveloped land, cut commute times, support jobs and investment, and increase housing supply as the government works towards its target of 1.5 million homes. Changes also strengthen protections for pubs, music venues and community facilities, support infrastructure and economic growth, and reduce unnecessary planning bureaucracy. Councils will face fewer blanket consultation requirements, with specialist advice focused on applications where it adds most value.

House Bass 2022 war der Arbeitstitel.
Den Track habe ich jetzt fertig. Sehr minimalistisch gehalten, weil ich einfach nicht genug von diesem Bass bekomme. Da ist wirklich nur ganz kurz etwas melodisches Enthalten und wird schnell wieder vom Bass abgelöst.
