(This seems to continue the theme that my subconscious has conception of how names work that doesn't match the waking world.)
After the informative lecture, I went out to the parking lot, looking for the rental car I was using. All the cars were US 1960s - 1980s types, with long trunks and hoods. I was trying unsuccessfully to remember the name of my car, something similar to "El Dorado" but it wasn't a Cadillac, maybe a Buick. Not finding the car, I went back into the building.

I dreamed friends & I were working on organizing lots of old books on a large row of bookcases. (For me, that's a good time.)
Then we went to a lecture by a historian friend. It was about the "Maureen" people and civilization. Another historian friend remarked "She probably means the Lombards", but no it turned out that the Maureen were a pre-Columbian Native American civilization in what is now Illinois. The Maureens were part of what are called "the Mound Builders".

Had a weird dream when I finally got back to sleep. I can't remember the details, but it involved an annual competition where only women were allowed to play chess against some very crafty orangutans.

Woke up at night thinking: "Oh wow, I'm starting to get recurring dreams."
Then thought about what I was actually dreaming. Turns out, I was dreaming about having recurring dreams. I can't remember what the recurring dreams in my dream were about, though.

If they didn’t appreciate the way people were treating them, they would stand up, walk away, and find a different place to live. 😂

Had a dream I was a remote viewer (psychic working for Project Stargate) and told to spy on a terrorist family planning to blow up a building. I view them and see they died when the building collapsed from TORNADO damage. I'm told to view again and then I see the same family die in a car crash. Told to view again, and again, and again. Every time I view this family they all die horrific deaths before they even get to plant the bomb.

Had a wild dream that Tim Cook (CEO of Apple Computers) was trying to sell me on the benefits of owning a copy of Microsoft Encarta (4-CD Encyclopedia collection from the 90s)
When I showed him that my current Macbook Pro laptop didn't come with a CD drive, he started telling me about this new thing called the World Wide Web.

I had a dream that I was in an op shop explaining to a lady that my kid & their friends used to buy op shop DVDs of bad knock-off kid's animated movies and watch them ironically (which is true IRL).
Then a friend handed me a tiny printer and asked me to go around asking the rest of our friends in the shop if they wanted one because she had just found a pile of them.
Sometimes dreams make sense & sometimes the don't.
Is there a hashtag for telling people about your dreams and is it #Dreams
I know a lot of people say that hearing about other people's dreams is boring but I disagree.
