If too many words on a page are unknown, the page does not teach. A second pass on an easy text drops the load so eyes can move.

Protocol: same easy book next day (no dictionary); >3 unknowns/page → stay; audio → silent → silent again.

Rereading "The Illustrated Man" by Ray Bradbury. This short story is a great one about where we are, where we might be headed, and how we got here. With some grace and courage and humility we can fix things. Ray Bradbury knew how to write about the humans we are. It's called, "The Other Foot."
