“Musashi” by Sean Michael Wilson and Michiru Morikawa (2014). A swashbuckling biography bordering on the hagiographic, in which Miyamoto Musashi's adoptive son narrates his the life of his polymath father. The B&W artwork is attractive, but I found the constant changes in perspective disorienting. The sole female character speaks one single line. 4pp of notes.
Apparently #7 in a series of graphic history reviews. #swordsmanship #japan #tokugawa #history #histodons #comic #graphicnovel #book
