a simple world

it just isn’t profitable if it
isn’t just profitable.
there are fields that
grow no food, fields that
clean no water, build no shelter;
there are professions invented wholesale
by wholesale; there are many who do
a work that bedevils even Hell; there
are places where nothing grows and
they are all around us, every day,
the world growing sterile from
those conducting a
work worse than idleness;
a mild destruction;
a narcissist wage;
all has been made complicated.

Poem: Exhausted

We are so stupid before You
Do You ever wonder what we're doing? 
Do You want to shake the globe
And see what settles down again
Instead of letting us crack the glass?
Is that why You stopped talking?
Because we kept writing the words down
Without looking up their meanings?

Χωρίς ανθρώπους μπόρεσα να ζήσω,

Today I use these words to make a roux
Something new and tasty for you to chew 
With no direction my brain silently cries
Not my best answer but I'll give it a try
