Making America Safe Again

Crime is absolutely a disease. When the wrong people are in power, crime can not only cause harm on the citizens and bring down property values, but also cause economic depression, social deterioration and spread immorality. Even worse, there were foreign terrorists and illegal immigrants who escalated crime in many parts of America during the years of the failed US President Joe Biden.

Fortunately, Donald Trump returned as US President and his unwavering support for law enforcement continues to create results with making America safe again.  

To put things in perspective, posted below is the excerpt from the official announcement by the White House. Some parts in boldface…

This National Police Week, America honors the brave men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives daily to protect our communities. Under President Donald J. Trump, these heroes are respected, empowered, and supported — not defunded, demonized, or betrayed by the Radical Left.

After four years of Democrats’ war on police, President Trump has delivered decisive leadership that puts officers back in control — and the results are undeniable:

In 2025, the U.S. murder rate posted its largest single-year drop on record — plummeting to the lowest level in 125 years — with sharp declines across all violent crimes. Major cities saw massive homicide reductions, while rapes, robberies, assaults, shootings, officer deaths (an 80-year low), traffic fatalities, and overdoses all plunged. These historic gains are accelerating into 2026 — especially in cities like Washington, D.C., and Memphis, where President Trump deployed federal support to restore order and back local police.

These victories are the direct result of the Trump Administration’s unbreakable commitment to law and order:

Imposing the death penalty for cop killers: President Trump directed the Department of Justice to aggressively seek capital punishment for those who murder police officers.

Scrapping Democrats’ soft-on-crime mandates: The Trump Administration rescinded radical Biden-era orders pushing “alternatives to arrest” for violent offenders and restrictions that tied officers’ hands when using lawful force to make arrests.

Empowering cities to clear the streets: States and localities now have stronger tools to remove disorderly vagrants and direct them toward treatment instead of enabling chaos.

Restoring critical funding and delivering relief: The Working Families Tax Cuts Act restored and expanded Byrne JAG and COPS grants to fight violent crime — while delivering No Tax on Overtime for America’s hardworking officers so they can keep more of what they earn protecting us.

Ending cashless bail: The Trump Administration halted federal support for the Radical Left’s “cashless bail” scheme that turned streets into revolving doors for dangerous criminals — and imposed consequences on jurisdictions that refused to act.

Dismissing anti-police lawsuits and DEI mandates: Biden-era DOJ actions targeting local police and fire departments and weakening hiring standards were dropped to protect public safety — not political correctness.

Reclaiming law enforcement’s authority: President Trump took bold action to promote aggressive, proactive policing based on proven best practices — while shielding officers from unjust expenses and liabilities so they can enforce the law without fear.

Deploying backup to high-crime cities: The Trump Administration surged federal resources into high-crime Democrat-run cities — standing shoulder-to-shoulder with local police to crush chaos, restore order, and rescue communities long victimized by Democrat failures.

Giving police the equipment they need: The Department of Justice reversed Biden-era restrictions and restored access to critical surplus military assets so local law enforcement has the tools to win.

Targeting criminal illegal aliens: Federal agents are now empowered to support local police in removing violent criminal illegals, resulting in hundreds of thousands of arrests and removals that make communities safer.

Slashing restrictive consent decrees: The Trump Administration launched an overhaul of federal consent decrees that micromanaged and hindered effective policing in cities across America.

Ich hatte eine Idee... und ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass sie so einschlägt!

Ich bin Teil einer großen, antifaschistischen Seite auf Facebook. Jupp, #Facebook. Dort postet ein Team aus sehr engagierten Menschen, antifaschistische Beiträge. Als große Seite in einem Sozialen Netzwerk, möchte man wachsen und Follower generieren. Dazu hat Facebook die #Insights, in denen man einige Statistiken rund um Beiträge, Follower-Wachstum, Interaktionen und so sehen kann.

Das große #Fediverse möchte die #Alternative zu den gängigen, #Bigtech Plattformen wie Facebook, #Twitter, #Instagram, #Youtube, #Tiktok und Weiteren sein, bzw. werden und auf lange Sicht, diese natürlich auch ablösen.

Das geht aber nicht, wenn genau die Funktionen fehlen, die für Wachstum, das Bedienen der Follower und das Generieren neuer Follower notwendig sind: Insights und Statistiken.

Und so habe ich FediSuite ins Leben gerufen: fedisuite.com

Zunächst waren es nur #Mastodon und #Friendica, die von FediSuite unterstützt wurden. Auf diesen beiden Fediverse Plattformen hat alles aufgebaut. FediSuite war zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht öffentlich. Ich integrierte eine API nach der anderen und damit auch eine weitere Fediverse Plattform nach der Anderen. Bis FediSuite dann irgendwann vor ein paar wenigen Wochen mit 8 unterstützten Plattformen öffentlich gegangen ist.

Inzwischen, Stand heute 14.05.2026, unterstützt #FediSuite 18 Fediverse Plattformen. Von Micro- und Macroblogging, über Bilder- und Video-Plattformen, bis hin zur Kurzvideoplattform Loops.

FediSuite ist inzwischen erwachsen geworden und hat sich zu einer echten, ausgewachsenen HootSuite Alternative für das Fediverse entwickelt.

• Beliebig viele Fediverse Accounts verbinden
• Ausführliche Statistiken rund um die eigenen Beiträge
• Ausführliche Statistiken rund um Follower, Boosts, Links, Antworten
• Ausführliche Statistiken über die benutzten Hashtags
• Funktionieren Text- oder Bilderbeiträge besser?
• Ausführliche Tipps und Optimierungshinweise

Das alles hat sich innerhalb von nur drei Monaten entwickelt.

Ich bin sehr stolz und sehr froh, dass meine Applikation so gut aufgenommen wurde und so vielen Menschen hilft.

Und ich hoffe sehr, dass sie dabei hilft, das Fediverse noch weiter wachsen zu lassen und den großen Bigtech Plattformen endlich den Rang ablaufen zu lassen!

Ich hatte eine Idee... und ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass sie so einschlägt!

Ich bin Teil einer großen, antifaschistischen Seite auf Facebook. Jupp, #Facebook. Dort postet ein Team aus sehr engagierten Menschen, antifaschistische Beiträge. Als große Seite in einem Sozialen Netzwerk, möchte man wachsen und Follower generieren. Dazu hat Facebook die #Insights, in denen man einige Statistiken rund um Beiträge, Follower-Wachstum, Interaktionen und so sehen kann.

Das große #Fediverse möchte die #Alternative zu den gängigen, #Bigtech Plattformen wie Facebook, #Twitter, #Instagram, #Youtube, #Tiktok und Weiteren sein, bzw. werden und auf lange Sicht, diese natürlich auch ablösen.

Das geht aber nicht, wenn genau die Funktionen fehlen, die für Wachstum, das Bedienen der Follower und das Generieren neuer Follower notwendig sind: Insights und Statistiken.

Und so habe ich FediSuite ins Leben gerufen: fedisuite.com

Zunächst waren es nur #Mastodon und #Friendica, die von FediSuite unterstützt wurden. Auf diesen beiden Fediverse Plattformen hat alles aufgebaut. FediSuite war zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht öffentlich. Ich integrierte eine API nach der anderen und damit auch eine weitere Fediverse Plattform nach der Anderen. Bis FediSuite dann irgendwann vor ein paar wenigen Wochen mit 8 unterstützten Plattformen öffentlich gegangen ist.

Inzwischen, Stand heute 14.05.2026, unterstützt #FediSuite 18 Fediverse Plattformen. Von Micro- und Macroblogging, über Bilder- und Video-Plattformen, bis hin zur Kurzvideoplattform Loops.

FediSuite ist inzwischen erwachsen geworden und hat sich zu einer echten, ausgewachsenen HootSuite Alternative für das Fediverse entwickelt.

• Beliebig viele Fediverse Accounts verbinden
• Ausführliche Statistiken rund um die eigenen Beiträge
• Ausführliche Statistiken rund um Follower, Boosts, Links, Antworten
• Ausführliche Statistiken über die benutzten Hashtags
• Funktionieren Text- oder Bilderbeiträge besser?
• Ausführliche Tipps und Optimierungshinweise

Das alles hat sich innerhalb von nur drei Monaten entwickelt.

Ich bin sehr stolz und sehr froh, dass meine Applikation so gut aufgenommen wurde und so vielen Menschen hilft.

Japan’s Child Population Declines To New Low Of 13.29 Million

Japan, which is one of the largest economies of the world, has an enduring population growth problem as low fertility rates stubbornly remained. That said, the child population of Japan has declined yet again reaching a new all-time low of 13.29 million, according to a news report of Kyodo News. The said figure even includes foreign residents.

Japan’s child population has shrunk to an estimated 13.29 million as of April 1, down 350,000 from a year earlier and marking a new record low, the government said Monday.

The ratio of children under 15 dropped 0.3 percentage point to 10.8 percent of the total population, also the lowest since comparable data became available in 1950, according to data released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications ahead of the national Children’s Day holiday on Tuesday.

The figures, including foreign residents, were calculated using population estimates that are based on a national census conducted every five years.

While the Japanese government has prioritized measures to address the declining birthrate and designated the period through 2030 as a “final opportunity to reverse the trend,” the decline has continued for 45 years despite steps such as expanding financial support for child-rearing households.

By gender, there were 6.81 million boys and 6.48 million girls, according to the data.

By age, 3.09 million children were 12 to 14, whereas 2.13 million were 0 to 2, indicating a trend of fewer children being born.

The number of children, including foreigners, born in Japan in 2025 hit a record low of 705,809, declining for the 10th consecutive year, according to preliminary data released by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

Japan’s child population has been falling since 1982, after peaking in 1954 at 29.89 million, while a second baby boom was observed between 1971 and 1974. The ratio of children has also been falling for the 52nd consecutive year since 1975.

Here in the Philippines, the push to develop new international airports to improve air travel connectivity with other destinations gained a major step forward as the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will fund a crucial feasibility study for the multi-billion Dollar Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) project, according to a news report by the Manila Bulletin.

The United States (US) Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will fund a feasibility study for the proposed Sangley Point International Airport in Cavite, a project aimed at easing congestion in Metro Manila and bolstering security for direct transpacific flights.

The USTDA awarded the grant to Cavitex Holdings Inc., a local developer leading the project consortium, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday, May 12.

Cavitex has selected California-based The S-A-P Group LLC to conduct the technical analysis, which will include air traffic forecasting, financial modeling, and the design of security protocols for a facility intended to serve as a major gateway for US-bound travel.

The investment comes as the Philippines struggles to manage surging aviation demand. Metro Manila’s primary gateway, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), handled approximately 52 million passengers in 2025, pushing its aging infrastructure to the limit. The Sangley project is a central component of the Luzon Economic Corridor, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen economic resilience and infrastructure connectivity across the country’s most populous island.

“The high volume of direct international travel between the United States and the Philippines reflects the steadfast friendship of our two countries,” said Thomas R. Hardy, USTDA deputy director.

He added that the project aligns with the broader goal of maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific by fostering safe and efficient passenger traffic.

For Cavitex, the US backing provides both technical expertise and a gateway to American technology. The study will evaluate the adoption of US solutions for security screening, telecommunications, and airport construction.

Leonides J.M. Virata, Cavitex president and chief executive officer, said the grant will accelerate the development of an airport expected to generate tens of thousands of jobs and unlock billions of pesos in long-term economic activity.

While the project cost remains subject to the study’s findings, the consortium has previously indicated that the multi-phase redevelopment of the former naval base could require an investment exceeding 500 billion pesos. The project is designed to handle both cargo and passenger traffic, providing a necessary relief valve for the capital region’s saturated airspace.

The USTDA functions as a “first mover” for US government involvement in emerging market infrastructure, providing the technical groundwork required to make large-scale projects bankable.
