Op vrijdag 21 augustus stappen we samen op de fiets om een krachtig signaal af te geven: de openbare ruimte is van iedereen. Toch voelen veel mensen zich nog steeds niet vrij of veilig om alleen over straat te gaan zodra het donker wordt. Daar willen we ons niet bij neerleggen.

Met deze fietstocht maken we zichtbaar dat de nacht ook van ons is. We fietsen samen door het centrum van Den Haag, en langs plekken die veel vrouwen als onveilig hebben aangekaart, om aandacht te vragen voor een veiligere openbare ruimte en om te laten zien dat niemand beperkt zou moeten worden in zijn of haar vrijheid.

17 juni is er een rechtszaak waarin de huurders hun rechten moeten verdedigen. Sta solidair met de huurders en kom naar de solidariteitsmanifestatie.

De woningcrisis gaan we niet oplossen door mensen dakloos te maken. Huizen voor mensen, niet voor winst.

AFA Nederland roept alle antifascisten op om die dag ook naar het Noordeinde in Den Haag te komen

Onder het motto “Laat ze niet herdenken” organiseren de Haagse Stadspartij (HSP) en een aantal anderen op 24 april in Den Haag een anti-fascistische actie- en picknickdag. Dat gaat gebeuren op de plek waar in 2023 en 2024 een extreem-rechtse herdenking van de maffiabaas en huichelaar Willem van Oranje plaatsvond. De organisatoren van die herdenking, de fascistische clubs Voorpost en Geuzenbond, kunnen nu niet terecht op die plek, bij Paleis Noordeinde en op het plein waar een monsterlijk ruiterstandbeeld van Willem van Oranje staat.

Op 22 februari organiseert de Darfur Union, een organisatie van en voor Soedanezen uit de Darfur-regio in Soedan, een demonstratie in Den Haag. De actie richt zich op het veroordelen van alle militaire misdadigers in Soedan door het Internationaal Strafhof. In 2023 brak er in dat land een oorlog uit tussen twee militaire fracties, de Rapid Support Forces (RSF) en de Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). De bevolking van Soedan is daarvan het slachtoffer, met veel doden, gewonden, vermisten, vluchtelingen en ontheemden als gevolg. Al jarenlang eisen Soedanese vluchtelingen dat de militairen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor misdaden tegen de menselijkheid, zoals dictator Omar al-Bashir, worden berecht. (lees verder)

"After more than a year of genocide, the Dutch government will have to stand trial for its complicity in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. A coalition of Palestinian and Dutch organisations have sued the Dutch government, and the hearing will take place in the District Court in The Hague on Friday 22 November. Not only the role of the Netherlands in the genocide is part of the case — also its role in Israel’s structural violations of international law long before 7 October.

We have all lost faith in the international order, if we ever had any. But this is the first-ever case in which organisations demand that ICJ findings (from January and July 2024) are applied to a domestic court. If they fail, we can dissolve the ICJ and ICC.

So, let’s come together one more time at the Court in solidarity with the Palestinian people."
