Kuratiert: Warum ich das #60Sekunden‑Projekt vorläufig stoppe
Diese Kuratiert‑Folge rund um asoziale, algorithmische Medien beginnt ausnahmsweise mit einem Thema in eigener Sache: Mein #60Sekunden‑Experiment auf TikTok, Instagram und YouTube, wo ich regelmäßig meine Blogbeiträge in kurze Videos transformiert habe, pausiert vorerst.
Nicht, weil mir die Themen ausgegangen wären oder die Lust, junge Menschen mit digitalen und politischen Inhalten zu erreichen. Sondern weil mir ein Abonnement von CapCut, das ich als zentrale Produktionsplattform genutzt habe, für ein experimentelles, nicht monetarisiertes Projekt schlicht zu teuer ist. ByteDance hat wohl die Preise geändert und ich kann nicht nur Coins hinzukommen, sondern müsste besagtes Abo abschließen. Sehr schade. Leider habe ich auch keine Alternative gefunden, die meiner Produktionsweise entgegenkommt.
Jugendschutz per Bann: Australiens Social‑Media‑Verbot für Unter‑16‑Jährige
Australien hat es vorgemacht, europäische Politiker jubelten — und Golem berichtet jetzt über das Erwartbare: Der seit Dezember 2025 geltende Social-Media-Bann für unter 16-Jährige ist weitgehend wirkungslos. Wer ein falsches Geburtsjahr einträgt, ist einfach drin. Das ist kein Versagen der Umsetzung, das ist das Konzept. Jugendschutz per Altersgrenze funktioniert im digitalen Raum genauso gut wie Tempolimit nur per Straßenschild — es beruhigt die Politik, nicht die Straße.
Das wird europäische Regierungen mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht davon abhalten, es auch mit einem Verbot zu versuchen. Europa diskutiert Ausweiskontrollen und Mindestalter, während die eigentliche Baustelle — wie Plattformen strukturell auf Sucht ausgelegt sind und viel strenger reguliert werden müssten — politisch weitgehend unangetastet bleibt. Symbolpolitik ist billiger als Regulierung. Und Trump könnte ja Zölle verhängen.
Social‑Media‑Detox: Zwei Wochen gegen zehn Jahre kognitiven Abbau?
Die Washington Post berichtet über eine Studie, bei deren Ergebnis man sich die Augen reibt: Wer zwei Wochen weniger scrollt, soll laut Studie kognitiv so fit werden wie jemand, der zehn Jahre jünger ist. Kann man Schäden durch Social-Media-Nutzung also rückgängig machen? Das klingt nach Clickbait-Wissenschaft — und man sollte es mit der nötigen Skepsis einordnen.
Trotzdem: Dass deutlich weniger Bildschirmzeit Aufmerksamkeit, Schlaf und mentale Gesundheit verbessert, ist eigentlich keine Überraschung mehr. Die Überraschung ist, wie stark die Effekte offenbar ausfallen. Wir reden ernsthaft darüber, dass Selbst-Entzug gesünder macht. Und die Plattformen verdienen ihr Geld damit, dass Menschen nicht aufhören können. Individuelle Gegenwehr gegen ein System, das darauf ausgelegt ist, genau das zu verhindern? Ob das gelingen kann? Individuell ja, in der Breite sicher nicht.
Die vermietete Öffentlichkeit und der Daumen des Admins
Passend dazu beschreibt Gunnar Sohn auf ichsagmal.com die „vermietete Öffentlichkeit“. Die alte Medienfrage lautete demnach: Wer spricht? Die neue lautet: Wem gehört der Raum, in dem gesprochen wird? Zwischen diesen beiden Sätzen liegt der ganze Verlust der digitalen Öffentlichkeit – vom versprochenen „Kaffeehaus auf Social Media“ hin zu Algorithmen, Aufmerksamkeitsökonomie, Hausordnungen, Zugriffszählern, Werbeauktionen und Moderationsnebel – oder gar keiner Moderation, weil das ja laut Trump und seinen Freunden Zensur ist.
Öffentlichkeit ist nicht offen, nicht neutral, sondern privatisiert auf Twitter/X, Meta, LinkedIn, aber auch Mastodon‑Instanzen. Aus Debatte wird Traffic, aus Bürgern wird Nutzungsverhalten, meint Gunnar, und moniert, dass aus Betreibern Hausmeister mit Generalschlüssel werden, die per AGB und Admin‑Interface entscheiden, was und wer sichtbar ist und wer nicht.
Ein wichtiger Unterschied fällt mir unter den Tisch: Bei den asozialen, algorithmischen chinesischen und US-amerikanischen Plattformen ist Moderation gar nicht gewollt. Im Fediverse und auf Mastodon wird zumindest moderiert, auch wenn es manchem nicht gefällt, wie und was moderiert wird. Und dezentrale Strukturen sorgen auf jeden Fall für mehr Vielfalt.
Der Kernaussage von Gunnar zu Medienpolitik und digitaler Öffentlichkeit stimme ich zu: Es reicht nicht, von der einen zur anderen Plattform zu wechseln. Entscheidend ist, eigene Räume und Ausgänge zu behalten – Blogs, Newsletter, eigene Websites – statt sich vollständig in vermieteten Öffentlichkeiten einzurichten.
„Das Internet stirbt“: Entmenschlichung vor und mit KI
An Gunnar anschließend: Das Internet, von dem wir in den Neunzigern und Nullerjahren geträumt haben, existiert nicht mehr. Nicht weil die Technik versagt hätte, sondern weil das Geschäftsmodell es aufgefressen hat, schreibt Carla Siepmann auf netzpolitik.org. KI ist dabei nicht der Auslöser, sondern der Beschleuniger — die Entmenschlichung sozialer Medien begann mit Engagement-Metriken, algorithmischer Aufmerksamkeitsjagd und dem Umbau von Kommunikation in Werbe-Inventar. KI setzt das jetzt in anderen Geschwindigkeiten fort.
Was bleibt, ist ein Feed, in dem echte menschliche Kommunikation kaum noch stattfindet. Ich schreibe seit über 17 Jahren Blog — und ich merke selbst, wie der Anteil authentischer Interaktion in sozialen Netzwerken abnimmt, während die schiere Menge an Inhalten zunimmt. Das Internet stirbt nicht an einem Herzinfarkt. Es stirbt daran, dass es systematisch optimiert und monetarisiert wurde, so dass nicht viel Menschliches mehr übrig ist. Klick as klick can, scroll as scroll can.
Zuckerberg im Doppelpack: Der KI‑Avatar als Chef‑Double
Apropos Entmenschlichung: Meta entwickelt laut manager magazin einen fotorealistischen KI-Avatar von Mark Zuckerberg — trainiert auf seine Stimme, seine Formulierungen, seine öffentlich geäußerten Strategien. Er soll als digitaler Zwilling intern mit Mitarbeitenden kommunizieren. Mark hat ja schließlich nicht für alle Zeit und die Mitarbeitenden gehören eingenordet.
Das ist mehr als ein Effizienz-Experiment. Es ist die konsequente Verlängerung einer Plattformlogik, die Kommunikation schon lange von Verantwortung entkoppelt. Zuckerberg kann nicht überall sein — sein Avatar schon. Ob der digitale Zwilling richtig oder falsch liegt, falsch entscheidet oder falsch wirkt: Who cares? Das Zuckerberg-Double ist nicht das Ende dieser Logik, sondern erst ihr Anfang. Konzernchefs heute, Influencer morgen, Politiker übermorgen.
Der von Gunnar postulierte Hausmeister Krause ist bald ein digitaler Zwilling, ein KI-gesteuerter Hausmeister. Von Alles für den Dackel, alles für den Club zu Alles für die Klickraten, alles für die Werbeeinnahmen von Zuckerberg und Konsorten. Und das voll automatisiert, agentisch.
Nachtrag zum #60Sekunden‑Projekt: Was bleibt?
Damit sind wir wieder beim #60Sekunden‑Projekt: Der Versuch, in genau diesen durch den Algorithmus gesteuerten Feeds – TikTok, Insta, YouTube – digitale Themen, Demokratie‑Fragen und Medienkritik in 60 Sekunden unterzubringen. Inhaltlich habe ich viel gelernt: Welche Themen funktionieren, wie stark man zuspitzen muss, wie sich Blog‑Texte in Videoform übersetzen lassen und wie unterschiedlich die Plattformen auf denselben Inhalt reagieren. Jetzt steht das Projekt vorerst still.
Vielleicht ist genau das die kuratierte Botschaft dieser Folge: Wer heute junge Menschen erreichen will, muss durch Plattformen navigieren, die gleichzeitig problematisch, gesundheitlich belastend, politisch umkämpft und zunehmend automatisiert sind – und deren Tools einen immer höheren Preis verlangen. Die Frage ist nicht, ob wir dort präsent sein sollten, sondern wie lange wir es uns leisten können: ökonomisch, gesundheitlich und demokratisch.
Good to know: Wie ich mit CapCut gearbeitet habe
Mein Workflow in CapCut war im Kern simpel, aber für mich entscheidend: Erst entstand ein Voice-over-Text — meistens aus einem Blogbeitrag oder einer #9vor9-Folge heraus, von einer KI auf 60 Sekunden zugespitzt. Den fertigen Text habe ich dann in CapCuts Funktion „mit KI erstellen“ eingefügt, Format 9:16 gewählt, Länge rund 60 Sekunden, Stil „Black&White Comic“ oder „Noir Comic“ in Schwarz-Weiß, dazu eine passende deutsche KI-Stimme. CapCut hat daraus automatisch ein Kurzvideo gebaut — Text, generierte Szenen, Voice-over. Danach bin ich noch einmal durch, habe offensichtliche Fehler korrigiert, einzelne Szenen angepasst, und fertig.
Genau diese Automatisierung war der Grund, warum das Projekt für mich überhaupt machbar war. Ohne diesen Grad an KI-Unterstützung wäre der Zeitaufwand für regelmäßige Kurzvideos nicht zu stemmen — nicht neben Blog, Podcast und Job. Dass das Experiment jetzt ausgerechnet am Preis von CapCut scheitert, hat eine gewisse Ironie: Die Plattformökonomie, über die ich in meinen Videos geredet habe, hat mich selbst eingeholt.

En un movimiento sin precedentes que escala la guerra fría tecnológica, el gobierno de China ha bloqueado la adquisición de la startup de agentes de IA Manus por parte de Meta, ordenando la reversión total de una operación ya integrada (Fuente Bloomberg).
La ambición de Mark Zuckerberg por liderar la carrera de los «agentes de IA» ha chocado frontalmente con la muralla regulatoria de Pekín. Según informa TechSpot, la Comisión Nacional de Desarrollo y Reforma de China (NDRC) ha emitido una orden formal para que Meta Platforms deshaga la compra de Manus, una startup fundada en China pero recientemente trasladada a Singapur, valorada en más de 2.000 millones de dólares. Las autoridades chinas alegan motivos de «seguridad nacional» y una violación de las leyes de control de exportación de tecnología estratégica, calificando el movimiento de la empresa como un intento «conspirativo» de vaciar la base tecnológica del país hacia manos estadounidenses.
La situación es extremadamente compleja, ya que la integración de Manus en Meta estaba muy avanzada: más de 100 empleados ya se habían trasladado a las oficinas de Meta en Singapur y el algoritmo de Manus ya estaba siendo incorporado en los sistemas publicitarios de Facebook e Instagram. Ahora, China exige no solo la devolución de los fondos y la anulación de las transferencias de acciones, sino también el cese inmediato del uso de cualquier propiedad intelectual de Manus por parte de Meta. Para complicar más el panorama, los fundadores de la startup, Xiao Hong y Ji Yichao, se encuentran actualmente bajo una prohibición de salida del país en China mientras se resuelve la investigación.
Este bloqueo es visto por los analistas como un aviso de Pekín para frenar la fuga de cerebros y tecnología hacia Silicon Valley, una práctica conocida como «Singapore-washing» (trasladar sedes a Singapur para evitar vetos). Mientras Meta sostiene que la operación cumplió con todas las leyes aplicables, el mercado observa con temor cómo este conflicto podría sentar un precedente para futuras adquisiciones en el sector de la IA. Zuckerberg didn't create FaceBook. He stole code from the Winklevoss twins.
Zuckerberg sold out FaceBook user's data to Cambridge Analytica. Then appeared like a contrite schoolboy, before congress, saying, "Ooops! I didn't mean to accidentally cut Billion dollar deals to sell out FaceBook users, and influence the US elections in favor of Trump. Honest mistake! Won't do it again ( unless the money is right ).
All said and done, after the whole being caught red-handed and tried, and all the crocodile tears he cried, Zuckerberg still came out financially ahead on this corrupt deal.
Did his ethics change? Probably not. Meta is just more clever about being caught.
I have so many products from FaceBook, that were total scams. I ordered an electric lighter that was supposedly based on Tesla coil technology, and could charge from a USB port, and never needed any fuel. I got a cheap Chinese butane lighter. Zuckerberg's ethics didn't change.
