In the #Alien #movie franchise the #Xenomorphs are considered animals but are very smart. Their main goal seems to reproduce but they can do clever problems solving. But then the alien/human hybrids are always kind of stupid and primordial. I didn’t find a in universe explanation for that, any ideas?

I've been working on this image for a while, I'm mostly happy with how it came out.
Based on Leonardo Davincis Lady with an Ermine, I call it Ripley with a Xenomorph.

The only #alien sequel I will accept is one where Ripley wakes up and ALL of Alien 3 and its character-arc destroying wank was a dream. Newt is fine, Hicks is recovering and Bishop has been mended and given a prize for being A Very Good Android.
Also Elon Musk is somehow still alive, thinks the #xenomorphs are a woke myth and goes to LV426 to prove it. Earth loses contact with his ship and we all dust our hands and move on with life, happier and safer.

It's a solid entry in the #Alien print fiction franchise. It takes place on a Weyland-Yutani black site, where scientists are experimenting with a variety of dangerous projects ... including weaponizing the #xenomorphs. It's a brutal book, and as is typical for the Alien universe, the most dangerous monsters are the humans. #SummerReading #SummerReadingList #Books #Novels #SciFi #Horror

So, on my quest to slay the demons of my gaming past, I am not slaying demons, but #Xenomorphs in the #SNES version of #Alien3
Let me be honest, this game is brutal, and I am amazed I beat the first stage of this game when I was younger as it is... Challenging to say the least. It was so traumatic that the password for level 2 is seared into my mind. The password being QUESTION.
So, clearing a stage requires you to beat several missions on that level, and the missions require you to navigate the maze-like map going to multiple locations, saving prisoners, torching eggs, and repairing things. All the while xenomorphs constantly spawn around you to be a nuisance!
So far I have beaten the first two stages and each stage has taken well over an hour each. This feels like this will be a slog! I am so glad #RetroAchievements is logging my progress on this one!
