Krank zur Arbeit gehen ist in Deutschland wieder Thema: Friedrich Merz stellt Krankentage infrage, während über Krankenstand, elektronische AU und mögliche Teilzeitkrankschreibungen diskutiert wird. Dabei geht es nicht nur um Fehlzeiten, sondern um die Frage, welche Folgen Anwesenheitszwang für Beschäftigte, Kolleg:innen und Unternehmen hat. In der Folge geht es um Präsentismus: Menschen erscheinen krank am Arbeitsplatz, obwohl sie sich auskurieren sollten. Das kann Krankheiten verschleppen, andere anstecken und langfristig teurer werden als reguläre Krankentage. Auch psychische Erkrankungen, Burnout, Stress am Arbeitsplatz und der Druck, im Team nicht fehlen zu dürfen, spielen eine zentrale Rolle. Außerdem geht es um die politische Debatte von CDU und SPD. Ausserdem um Friedrich Merz, Carsten Linnemann und Lars Klingbeil, um Krankmeldungen, Arbeitskultur und die Frage, warum Krankheit oft moralisch bewertet wird. Zwischen Krankenstand, Leistungsdruck und Fürsorgepflicht der Arbeitgeber zeigt sich: Wer krank ist, braucht Erholung und keinen Anwesenheitszwang.

Scheiß Titel, aber das Video ist gut. Ab 03:05 geht’s um ADHS.

Neurodivergenz beschreibt Gehirne, die Reize, Aufmerksamkeit und soziale Situationen anders verarbeiten als das, was oft als „neurotypisch“ gilt. Jan Philip Zymny spricht in dieser Folge über Autismus, ADHS und die Frage, warum Neurodiversität gerade so sichtbar geworden ist. Dabei geht es um ADHS bei Erwachsenen, späte Diagnosen und darum, warum Frauen und Mädchen lange übersehen wurden. Auch TikTok spielt eine Rolle: Zwischen hilfreicher Aufklärung und irreführenden Kurzclips entsteht ein Bild von ADHS, das Betroffenen helfen, aber auch schaden kann. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Versorgungslage in Deutschland schwierig, wenn Diagnoseplätze und Therapieangebote fehlen. Die Folge erklärt, warum Neurodivergenz keine Krankheit sein muss, aber im Alltag zur Behinderung werden kann, wenn Schule, Arbeit, Festivals oder Supermärkte nur für neurotypische Menschen gedacht sind. plus, people could see real time where the ICE Nazis were in their neighborhood

With all the #NPM attacks, I'm thinking about ditching PeerTube and setting up some sort of a thing with a combination of Jekyll and Hyper8 to have a website with the styling that I want it to have rather than Hyper8 since I don't really like how it looks. I want to have it so RSS feeds work for stuff too, and having comments work from other federated services would be nice but I would need to ensure blocking and moderation works and allow myself to add comments too.
