WHITE MESA UTE, Utah -- "In a powerful and inspiring day of solidarity and action on October 17th, White Mesa Ute Community members of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe were joined by Indigenous People and allies from across the southwest in the 10th Annual White Mesa Spiritual Walk and Protest against Energy Fuels and their uranium 'mill' and mines. About 250 people participated, including tribal members from the #UteMountainUte Tribe, #Havasupai, #Navajo Nation, #AcomaPueblo, #GilaRiver Indian Community, and #Quechan.

"Located in southern #Utah, the White Mesa Ute Community is next to Energy Fuels’ uranium mill that has become an international #RadioactiveWaste disposal site. Amid the #Trump administration and State of Utah’s push to boost #uranium and #NuclearPower, more uranium is being trucked from the Energy Fuels’ La Sal Mines Complex about 60 miles to the mill, and at least 72 new mining claims have been staked on lands cut from Bears Ears National Monument. Uranium ore is also shipped from Energy Fuels’ #PinyonPlain mine near the #GrandCanyon, a mine opposed by the Havasupai Tribe and many other Indigenous and non-Native allies."

"The Tohono O'odham Legislature said today that their Nation and way of life are under attack by the federal government, while the #USGovt threatens and feels assured of its power to violate the rights of a #SovereignNation.

" #HomelandSecurity plans to begin removing #Oodham relatives, the #Saguaro, and #Ocotillo, in two weeks. The government plans to start building the wall on December 1. More than
half of the 2,000 Saguaro and Ocotillo will not survive, even if they are transplanted, the tribe said.

"Last week, the Border Patrol told the tribe that the prayer camp at #SanMiguelGate would be removed and the people 'manhandled.' O'odham at the #SacredFire were able to move further from the international boundary, the tribe said.

"Condemning the Border Patrol's action, the Tohono O'odham Legislature said O'odham have a right to freedom of speech, freedom of worship and to peacefully assemble.

"Reporter John Carlos Frey said that #BorderPatrol stormed the Tohono O’odham #PrayerCamp with rifles raised while families slept inside. At 3:28 am in the morning, Border Patrol agents stormed the camp. Awakened, the fire keepers heard a gun being chambered by an agent with a long gun. The #FireKeepers ' log lists 665 sightings of #drones and helicopters and surveillance."

SellsAZ -- "The Tohono O'odham chairman makes it clear, there will be no real protests here.

Chairman Verlon Jose told tribal members planning to march on Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday that the 'no trespass' order is still in effect.

So while border wall contractors rip up their relatives, #Saguaros, protected plants in Arizona, no real protests are allowed here, especially by outsiders.

In a late night series of events, Tohono O'odham marchers said they will march and pray anyway, and welcomed #NonOodham to join them at 6 am on Monday beginning at #Bashas in Sells.

What this really means if you're not O'odham, and you are willing to risk being harassed, turned around, or possibly arrested and your car seized by the US #BorderPatrol or #TohonoOodhamNation #police, you're welcome to join the walk south from Bashas at the early hour of 6 am.

There will be a caravan for the long stretch to the camp at the San Miguel gate at the border.

The US Border Patrol which is already out-of-control and violent here, does whatever it wants. The only question is, how will they carry out their barbaric crusade this time.

Meanwhile, it's around midnight, and as Indigenous Peoples Day arrives, Chairman #VerlonJose says the way to honor Indigenous Peoples Day is to go #vote.

The border wall contractors will be killing Saguaros, and making big money doing it.

Will anyone even try to protect their relatives?"

"Many of you have heard that on Friday, the Ninth Circuit again refused to stop the Government from giving #OakFlat to #ResolutionCopper for destruction. This is sad news. But we will never stop fighting to protect Oak Flat and each place that is sacred to our people. And we are still fighting—in the courts, in Congress, and, most importantly, spiritually.

In the courts, there are still four lawsuits seeking to protect Oak Flat. All four cases are still going. And any one of these cases could still put a stop to the Government’s and Resolution’s plans to destroy Oak Flat:

- In Lopez v. United States, on the day after Friday’s ruling, seven brave Apache women filed an emergency appeal in the U.S. Supreme Court, asking the Court to stop the mine and protect Oak Flat. The Supreme Court could rule on that appeal any day. The women in that case can also ask the Ninth Circuit to reconsider its ruling in their case. The deadline to ask for reconsideration is April 27, 2026. That case focuses on religious freedom.
- In #SanCarlosApache Tribe v. United States, also part of Friday’s ruling, the Tribe can also ask the Ninth Circuit to reconsider its ruling and/or appeal to the Supreme Court. That case focuses on the Tribe’s rights, tribal consultation, and the inadequacy of the government’s decision-making process.
- In Arizona #Mining Reform Coalition v. United States, also part of Friday’s ruling, several environmental groups and the Inter-Tribal Association of Arizona can also ask the Ninth Circuit to reconsider its ruling and/or appeal to the Supreme Court. That case focuses on the government’s unfair appraisal of Oak Flat and inadequate #EnvironmentalReview.
- Apache Stronghold v. United States, which is our case, has been 'stayed' (or temporarily put on hold) waiting for the Ninth Circuit’s ruling, which came on Friday. Now that the Ninth Circuit has ruled, our case will start again in the district court. We will continue making every possible legal claim to protect Oak Flat.

In Congress, on Tuesday, Representative #AdelitaGrijalva introduced legislation to preserve public lands in the Chí’chil Biłdagoteel Historic District and fight back against the proposed mine. This bill is an important part of the fight to protect Oak Flat.

But even more than legally and politically, we are continuing to fight spiritually. This fight has never been primarily about law or politics. It is about who we are as human beings, religiously and spiritually. If we allow sacred places to be destroyed for profit, we are saying that nothing is truly sacred. We are losing something essential about our humanity—our ability to respect #MotherEarth, to honor what is holy, and to live in balance with the world around us.

That is why we are calling on all people to continue raising their voices, in prayer and protest, to protect Oak Flat—to protect the sacred. We, the Apache Stronghold, invite you to an upcoming spiritual gathering on March 28-29, 2026 at Oak Flat.

The legal system may try to reduce our struggle to questions of ownership and profit. But our connection to Mother Earth predates those systems. It is something each one of us is born into, something we carry in our prayers, our songs, and our way of life. No matter what the courts rule, no matter what the government tries to do, we will never stop fighting to preserve our sacred places. We will not lose our connection to the Creator."

"Another of Epstein's associates headed up the tech media of MIT and told Epstein he was on the Navajo Nation.

"MIT carried out screening of preschool children on the western portion of the Navajo Nation in #Shonto, #TubaCity and #MonumentValley, a disturbing fact coming after the release of the Epstein Files.

"Further, an unverified email claims that a Navajo held the key to all of Epstein's vaults. Those vaults contained the photos and videos of the sexual abuse of children were reportedly used to blackmail the leaders of the world as a method of control.

"We've been tracking the Ghost Flights, disappearing migrants, moms, asylum seekers, and others arrested in Minneapolis, who are quickly grabbed and taken away at a private terminal at Minneapolis international airport.

"The charter airlines are making it harder to track them, but here's what we found: #GlobalX, #Eastern and #Omni based in #TulsaOK, have operated most of these, with Sun Country also operating some of the flights.

"These secretive flights take those arrested to deportation hubs in isolated areas, where they are sent to prison, deported to other countries, or constantly shifted on flights. These secretive hubs are in #DadeCollier in the Florida Everglades; Alexandria in central Louisiana; and Harlingen on the Texas border.

"Those arrested are boarded shackled in chains from their wrists to their feet, and often denied water and food, and abused. While these secretive flights disappear people, their families desperately search for them.

"The flights out of #MesaAZ in the #Phoenix area are deporting hundreds on each flight to #Venezuela. A recent flight out of Mesa deported those arrested to #Russia and #Iran. The past flights show the men were immediately given #Draft notices for military service when they arrived in Russia. Protesters and political #AsylumSeekers face worse.

"As for the chartered airlines, the main contract is held by #CSI in #AlbuquerqueNM, who contracts out the other airlines.

"Yesterday, a Ghost Flight landed in #Guantanamo and then #Haiti. These are #moms, #workers, asylum seekers, #LegalResidents, and most are whisked away and denied due process. More than 2,000 have been deported from #Minneapolis.

"Other major hubs for deportation flights are #ElPaso, #Miami, #SanAntonio, and #TacomaWA. The deportation flights are arriving in every region of the world, the Americas, Asia, and Africa." 😱

"President Star Comes Out points out in the Proclamation today that the U.S. Border Patrol is working with ICE in its 'unlawful conduct against Native people in #Minneapolis' -- which is within the Aboriginal Territory of the Great Sioux Nation.

"The Standing Rock Lakota Nation reports that a tribal member is being detained after being seized by ICE in Minnesota. Another #Lakota, Sisseton Wahpeton #Oyate, was arrested by ICE. He was located safe, but bruised. He was standing near the site where Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse, was murdered by federal agents in Minneapolis on Saturday. The Sisseton tribal member was among those present who was arrested. He was released without being charged with any crime.

"Other witnesses standing near the site of the crime, the murder of Alex Pretti, say they fear for their lives, and have gone into hiding. Federal agents are reported hunting down the #witnesses to arrest them.
