Indigenous leaders say that in the Trump administration's rush to build border walls, contractors are desecrating Native American sacred places and cultural sites at an unprecedented pace, more than 170 years after the international boundary split the territories of dozens of tribes. The White House has devoted $46 billion to wall construction, which has ramped up along the 1,954-mile border even as illegal crossings have fallen to historic lows.

Spent the night in the San Rafael Valley in southern Arizona so I could photograph this big juniper tree early in the morning. I also wanted to photograph the new construction on the wall that has happened since I was last there.
Not far from where the tree is, somebody had an oopsie with some of these wall panels. There are big dents that make it look like maybe a rookie excavator operator smashed into it or something. Or maybe those were from trying to right it after it tipped over for some other reason.
