The move leaves millions of military #veterans with far worse options than most other American homeowners if they run into trouble paying their home loans. And it comes at a time when nearly 90,000 #VA loans are seriously past due, with 33,000 of those already in the foreclosure process, according to the data and analytics firm ICE."

I waited until the last minute to file that stupid BOIR form - I didn't want to give the govt any more personal information than absolutely necessary. The deadline was March 21, and I filed on the 20th. But ON MARCH 21, they decided to remove all reporting requirements for US based companies. (And US persons who have ownership in foreign companies.)

@Wyatt_H_Knott I agree. When I signed my enlistment papers, that formed a legally binding contract between the #USGovt and me. Part of that contract was #VA benefits and care. It costs ~$13,000/hour to fly a USAF C-17 Globemaster. Flight time from Ft Bliss to Bogota is ~6 hours, ergo a round trip costs ~$156,000 for 165 deportees or ~$950 per person. A cheap one-way from El Paso to Bogota is ~$400 and the #USGovt doesn't pay to fly the plane back. To fly 1 million deportees to Columbia will require 6000 flights or ~$945 million.
