    Its not showing up in ONS data, but according to HMRC figures there has been a rise in productivity;

    this may be due to firms shedding the least productive workers (and replacing them with technology), which reflects the rise in labour costs driven by Govt. policy.

    So, if that was an intended aim, then the Govt. needs to get a better grip on helping those workers & others develop new skills & practices.
