Immaginate un profumo nato per sbaglio, scelto perché “quello sbagliato”, e diventato il più venduto della storia: benvenuti nel mondo di Chanel N°5, dove l’errore di laboratorio è genio, il numero 5 è un talismano e Coco Chanel è la regista di un colpo di stato olfattivo.

Era il 5 maggio 1921 — quinto giorno, quinto mese, perché il 5 era il suo numero fortunato e la “quintessenza” degli alchimisti — quando Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, orfana diventata regina della moda, lanciò un profumo che non profumava di mughetto romantico, ma di donna, di pulito, di scandalo.
