I keep a Perpetual Journal; here are my entries from my yard 1, 2 & 3 years ago this week: Foothills Palo Verde Seedpods turning red; 0.82” rain; Saguaro fruits! In ‘26 the seedpods are turning tan; Saguaros have had fruit for weeks & we got .4” rain the previous week.

@kilevra Ich habe vor den #Saguaro s aus Kunststoff auch #Wildlinge aus Hanf getragen. Gingen viel schneller kaputt und schon der Morgentau auf ner Wiese reicht für nasse Füße.

- Saguaros do not begin blooming until they are at least 30-35 years old
- Each flower is only open for 18-24 hours
- Saguaros appear to flower in a counter-clockwise direction, with buds first appearing on the east side, then the north, and then the west

Saguaro cactus are one of my favorite plants. They live long, and the arms sometimes emerge between 75-100 years old. This was one of my all-time favorite places to camp.

So, die von @MeierSchulze empfohlenen #Saguaro sind angekommen.

Ersteindruck: Sowohl die Sommer- als auch Winterschuhe sind deutlich fester als Leguano, fast schon wie normale Schuhe. Ob ich das gut finde muss ich erst noch rausfinden, aber es lässt zumindest hoffen, dass die Winterschuhe dann auch dichter sind. 😀
